C. James Bye (AKA Thirsting Quench) began recording to four-track tape in 1997, playing with performance due Dr. Kamikaze and the $35 Sound in 2000, and with the Literacy Program in 2002. Thirsting Quench and the Captains of Industry has released seven albums, including Nema Reve, about which author, Warren Ellis said, "Itís total comfort food for old rockist tendencies, but by the time they start digging power chords out of their guitars with rusty screwdrivers, Iím off with the fairies."
